Eileen Murray * New York Gridlock *

Eileen started her ultimate career in Atlanta as a player in 1998. She played for Atlanta's Ozone at Nationals 9 times and at Worlds thrice. Most recently, she has competed in both Mixed and Women’s masters divisions. She began accruing her coaching acumen in 2000 and has led various teams in high school (Woodward Academy), college (UGA, Brandeis), club (Garden State Ultimate) and Pro (MLU, AUDL). Eileen has also contributed off the field through clinics for youth, college, and coaching, a few commentating gigs (Eurostars, Asian-Oceanic All-Stars), and work with Upwind Academy, ERIC, and 99 Days.

Angela Lin * Atlanta Soul * Board Co-President

Angela played USAU Club Women’s ultimate with Atlanta Ozone from 1996 – 2015 and through Worlds in 2018. She also played Club Women's with LOL (Bay Area, CA) in 2017-2018 and Masters with BKFT (Bay Area, CA) in 2013, 2015, 2017. She has played on teams who have won a College National Championship (University of Georgia 2001), a World Games Championship (Team USA alternate 2005), a Masters National Championship (Bay Area BKFT 2015), a Masters World Championship (Team USA London 2016), and two Masters Beach World Championships (Team USA Dubai 2015, Royan 2017). Angela coached Atlanta Orbit (developmental Club team, 2017), co-coached the Decatur High School girls’ team formerly MELD (2016-2018), and occasionally plays the part of a guest coach / consultant for college teams. She has also served as the USAU Club Southeast Men’s Regional Coordinator (2016-2017). In October 2018, Angela received the great honor of being inducted to the Ultimate Hall of Fame. She is currently one of the co-owners of Atlanta Soul, which was founded in spring 2018.


Nichole Kwee * Indianapolis Red

Nichole discovered ultimate at Rice University from 2011-2015 where Rice Torque won DIII nationals 2014 and 2015 (captain). She began her club career straddling cities practice playing for Austin Showdown and rostering with SF Tempo in 2014. After a move to Ohio, she played with Cincinnati Steamboat 2015-2017, making it to nationals 2016 (captain) and 2017. This year Nichole played for Columbus Rival for a third experience at club nationals. Her coaching career began in 2015 when she started coaching the University of Cincinnati women and since she continues to enjoy running youth outreach clinics at events like college nationals (2017) and WUCC 2018.


Colleen Callahan * Nashville Nightshade

Colleen grew up in a suburb of Nashville and learned to play ultimate in 2005 from her older brother. She went on to play varsity soccer at Rhodes College before playing DeSoto/Encore for eight seasons, captaining the team to one Nationals appearance. She and Liz Barnes captained the inaugural 2018 NightShade team. Colleen serves as Board Chair for the Nashville Ultimate Machine and team manager for the 2019 NightShade organization. She lives in Nashville with her husband, Jake Wright. In her free time, she loves making homemade bread, wakesurfing, and doing home renovations. Colleen is a fierce competitor who was destined to play ultimate with a maiden name of Callaghan (pronounced Callahan).  


Liz Barnes * Nashville Nightshade

Liz was first introduced to ultimate in her home town, Cleveland, TN, where 10 v 10 pickup games were the norm. She moved to Chattanooga in 2014 to attend UTC where she studied Exercise Science. In hopes of finding a women's team at UTC, she stumbled upon the men's ultimate booth at a club fair. After a semester of playing with the men's team, Liz decided to revive and captain the UTC Women's Ultimate team (Moxie). She was Moxie's first ever Callahan nominee in 2018 and made the All-Region Second Team. Her club career began in 2015 with making the practice squad on Nooga by Nature, eventually working her way to a roster spot for the series. Her club career continued with Encore (2016, 2017) and Shine (2018). She and Colleen Wright captained the inaugural 2018 NightShade team. Liz recently moved to Nashville to immerse herself in the ultimate community. She is honored and ecstatic to captain NightShade in their second season. It may be difficult to spot Liz, due to her imposing 5'1" stature; look for the girl who is always dancing. Liz loves children and wants to hold yours, don't make this weird.


Bonesaw * Austin Torch * Commissioner

Bonesaw grew up in suburban Philadelphia and learned to throw a Frisbee as a mischievous middle schooler on the golf course next to his best friend’s house. As teenagers in 1997, he and his brother wrote their first rock album and titled it “Sports and Heavy Music” which essentially became the manifesto for the rest of their lives. As a switch-hitting second baseman, he was a three-year starter on the baseball team at Amherst College and after a two-year stint teaching History and coaching at Kingswood-Oxford Middle School (West Hartford, CT), he moved to Austin, TX in 2001 to pursue a career in music with his brother. They have fronted the group Full Service (2003-2018) and Two Player (2019-present) as full-time touring musicians ever since. His wife Colleen Kepner (retired TX Melee, Showdown) turned him on to ultimate in 2011 and over time, the need for womxn’s and youth playing opportunities and exposure. In 2018 he helped launch the Austin Torch and just completed his first club season at the ripe old age of 40 with Riverside Ultimate!
