2024 PUL Championship Location Announced

PHILADELPHIA TO HOST THE 2024 PUL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND

Games Will Take Place on June 22-23 in Partnership with Philadelphia Surge

The 2024 Premier Ultimate League Championship Weekend will take place June 22-23 at Drexel University in partnership with the Philadelphia Surge. 

“Surge is thrilled to bring some of the best women’s and gender-expansive ultimate athletes in the world to Philadelphia! We look forward to putting on a great show for players and fans in June,” said Philadelphia Surge Managing Director Jordan Rhyne.

For 2024, the PUL is debuting a new playoff format for the Championship Weekend, where the overall win-loss record in the regular season determines divisional rankings. The top two teams from the North Division and the top two from the South Division will face off against their respective seed in a cross-divisional game. 

“After the divisional reformatting that took place in the off-season, we are eager to see our new Championship Weekend format come to life,” said PUL Commissioner Amanda Dallas. “Philadelphia is also poised to be a great host city, and we can’t wait to see ultimate highlighted in a market hungry for the sport.”

Drexel University’s Vidas Athletic Complex, home to the Philadelphia Surge, will host the top four qualifying teams for two games on Saturday, June 22. The first semifinals game will take place at 4 p.m. EST with the second at 7 p.m. The PUL Championship final will occur at 2 p.m. EST on Sunday, June 23. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, May 8.
